Qualification Description

Acquire the essential skills and knowledge needed to manage medium-rise construction projects through comprehensive training in building theory and practical construction for residential and commercial buildings. This course covers contractor selection, quality control, and client communication.

 

Completing this qualification can also provide the technical and managerial foundation required to apply for a builder’s licence or registration, depending on state or territory requirements (consult local licensing authorities for details). Upon successful completion, you will earn a Certificate for this nationally recognized qualification.

Packaging Rules

To achieve this qualification, the candidate must demonstrate competency in:

  • 27 units of competency:
    • 24 core units
    • 3 elective units
  • a maximum of one unit may be from any training package or accredited course as long as it ensures the integrity of the qualification’s Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) alignment and contributes to a valid, industry supported vocational outcome.

100 Points ID

Free Skills Assesment

Evidence Collection

Gather and prepare evidence of your prior learning, work experience, and relevant skills. This includes documents such as qualifications, work samples, employment records, and references.

Review of Evidence

After you submit your portfolio, one of our affiliated registered training organizations (RTOs) will evaluate it. If the assigned assessor requires more information, they will contact you. If any skill gaps are identified, the RTO may provide a trainer to help you enhance your skills at no cost.

Certification!

RPL Fast Track works with Registered Training Organizations to provide nationally recognized qualifications in Australia. These qualifications are equivalent to those obtained through full-time studies and can also be used for licensing applications.
